    Default Golden Rocks Update

Finally an update on their forum....

    Dear members,

It's been some time since our last update and I know you are all anxious.

I've just finished auditing GR database, it will take a couple of days to analyse it though to have a clear picture of current state of affairs.

Mike is auditing our traders in Europe, he must be back by the end of next week and that's when the whole picture becomes clear.

We have partially solved the problem with our exchanger. He is slowly returning our funds, and that's what we use to make urgent refunds to those of you who are in severe need. These funds are limited, therefore we can not grant requests for refunds all at once.

Please, bear with us for a little more while, we are desperately working on a solution acceptable to everybody involved.

Please, take my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this delay might cause.

    Sincerely,

    Nick

Default Yahoo refused to buy google?

Is it true that when Google first came, Yahoo refused to buy it? Did yahoo think it was too expensive at that time?

well when google first started off it was basically a dorm room project between 2 guys (the founders). the yahoo ceo said that the technology was intresting and definitly had potential, but yahoo was not looking to optimize it's search engine. i belive he said something like "being better then 80% of the competition was good enough". little did he know that search engines would rule the web.
