    Default How to submit web to yahoo

    i know there are lot of web offer free yahoo submition.. but is there any standered yahoo page to submit my web same like google?

    Yahoo has its own submit page. You shouldn't really need this however as Yahoo sould locate your site on its own. What would be useful however is to get yourself a Yahoo account, if you dont already, use siteexplorer and claim the site as yours (to authenticate you'll need to put a small html file in your web directory). This will nt only recognise the site but able to give you additional info about what Yahoo has on your site. And finally dont forget your xml sitemap file.

    To be perfectly honest with you these claims of free submissions to search engines are a waste of time, I've got sites registered on search engines that I've never used before, let alone submitted to.

    totally agreed with the above line.. its waste of time and our email ID go in the hands of spammers ( i got 100 + email related to search engine daily )

    if i submit my web to yahoo siteexplore, is it mean that i submited m yweb to yahoo search engine?
