i decided to give it a shot so tryed at eurodns
hers what i got in the shopping cart
Domain Type Setup Fee Annual Fee Restriction Year(s) Fees
boards4u.be new -20.00 20.00 1 0.00
Basically it has a fee of 20.00 but is deducted by the -20 setup fee makeing it 0. So eurodns is also free. As for that 1doller site when signing up you can enter some nameserver settings there to pre assign it to
IS the .Be domain names free for one year only ? Do we have to pay them next year ?Any one tell me please.
Yes, the .be domains are only free for the first year. If you want to continue using it the year after that, you need to pay the renewal fee. I think for EuroDNS, the price is 20 euros, I'm not sure about the other registrars.Originally Posted by itssami
Is that 20 Euros all that we have to pay ? We have to pay 20 euros every year ? Why :be is so expansive ? while other domains .com,.net,.org ,.biz are available from 2 $ per year...
.be is good for a period of time, just for fun, you don't have to pay anything so what can you loose?
.be is a country-code top level domain, and ccTLDs are usually more expensive than generic TLDs. If you really want a domain that you want to stay with for many years, I think the best option would be any of the cheaper gTLDs like .com, .net, or .org.Originally Posted by itssami
.be domain is only free for the 1st year? Oh...then nvm. i won't use this. But i think this is still a good offer.
