Thread: $6.50 domain registrations

    Exclamation $6.50 domain registrations

    Hello, all.

I'm currently running a domain registration site utilizing the services of a company that is ICANN-accredited. Currently, my .com, .net, .org, .name, .biz, & .us prices are at $6.50. .info is selling for $4.00. This is much lower than that of MOST domain sites, including GoDaddy, which has a normal price of $9.99, and Yahoo!, at $9.95.

The domain registration site is located at http://domains.freddyware.org . In addition to supporting the extensions named above, it also has
    • .in
    • third-level .in domains
    • .eu
    • .ws
    • .tv
Many people are probably going to be wondering how I could possibly offer such low prices. The answer: support from our parent company, a good supplier, and a lack of greed. Additionally, this site ONLY sells domains, domain renewals, transfers, managed DNS, mail forwarding, and domain forwarding; this means lower wholesale prices.

Just to be transparent: my wholesale prices are actually at $6.40 per .com, .net, .org domain - and I'm selling them for $6.50. Surely a profit margin of $0.10 isn't much?!

If you're looking to sell at these low prices, I recommend that you visit the PartnerSite at http://resellers.freddyware.org . I'm offering basically the same prices for resellers, no deposit required - you will not find this at ResellerClub or the same prices at HBDomains.

Don't miss out on these excellent, affordable, low prices. PayPal & credit cards processed by PayPal are accepted payment methods, and I'm a Verified PayPal member.

This is a trustworthy, verifiable offer, and you can find the site at http://domains.freddyware.org .

    Regards.

I'm just wondering, why at every domain site are .info's for sale ?

another question; If I wanted to buy the domain:

proxifymecaptain.org (I searched, it was available)

from you, it would cost $6.50, one time a year ? Will you place adds or something on my site or will it completely mine ?

UPDATE: using PayEngine we now support Fethard, Webmoney, E-gold, Moneybookers, and ePassporte! PayPal users and credit card payments are still separately processed through the "Pay using PayPal" or "Credit Cards with PayPal" options.

Still, FreddyWare is considering adding other payment services such as 2CheckOut, Authorize.Net, etc. Our supplier's technology includes these gateways, although we prefer to use ONE primary payment processor - PayPal.

Do you require any more formalities to be completed along with domain registration????
No, we do not. However, in accordance with the ICANN regulations, we may from time to time contact you to verify that the WHOIS information (name, address, etc) are up-to-date. If not, we will require the customer to modify the information so that it is correct. If you do not wish to put your real name and information on the public WHOIS, we offer FREE Private WHOIS (mask your identity) service.

from you, it would cost $6.50, one time a year ? Will you place adds or something on my site or will it completely mine ?
We will NOT place ads or require a link from your site, since you would be a paying customer. It is YOUR domain to keep; we have no claim to its ownership. Additionally, it WOULD cost $6.50 a year unless ICANN or our supplier increases their fees, in which case we may increase the prices to at most $6.75 in one year. (Such a price change would affect other domain registrars as well.)

I maintain that FreddyWare Web Services charges the minimum possible for a rounded number and a slim profit margin. It is not our intention to generate much revenue from this service, but rather to encourage users to utilize our host of services, including free cPanel hosting on one of two servers, and free WordPress MU blogs (that service is temporarily unavailable).

EDIT: renewals for many domain extensions are lower priced than registrations and transfers, so as to encourage users to stay with FreddyWare Web Services. The renewal prices are often LOWER than our wholesale costs!

Regards to all. Hope you buy from FreddyWare Web Services!

The domain resellership system appears to be identical to that of ResellerClub, which HBDomains appears to be using. However, for some reason totally unknown to me, my supplier's prices are lower than the highest slab on ResellerClub.
