Free Hosting vs. Paid

Ive heard alot about free hosting, but never tried it. i'm guessing that most free hosting services offer very little bandwidth, HDD space, etc. Is it worth it to pay for hosting?

well if you are running a large site and you want to have a good reputation then you need a host. But all you are doing is writing a blog then free hosting is good.

There's some free web hosts that will allow you to have high amounts of bandwidth and space, but they'll usually limit you on other area's such as not allowing you to place ads on your site, forbidding mp3s on your site, etc.
