Nothing is really unlimited. The monthly amount of information you transfer and receive can be unlimited, but it doesn't mean youhave an unlimited channel width.
Nope nothing is unlimited its just a trick to grab the customers, even on few of famous hosts if your site traffic increase more then 5k per day they start creating problems.
Bandwidth is an amount of data transfer, what is so unusual in that it could be unlimited? Many ISPs are providing that feature too. I know interactiveonline is offering trustworthy unlimited plans with high uptime and various features
I'd better read customer hosting reviews first before to make any final order in terms of unlimited bandwidth or space.

This whole misuse of the term bandwidth probably has its causes in the fact that most packages come with a specified amount of Gigabytes/month. Some might have considered it to be the same thing as bandwidth because the it is measured in bits/second. But who really knows?
