see, there is a difference between your PC and a web hosting.
you can have 20 gbs of songs in your hard disk but when u make your personal website, then it will easily fit into a hosting with around 200mb space. still the requirements depends upon the resource usage requirements by your site, like if u run a proxy site, then it can fit into a 10 mb space hosting, but will need lots of bandwidth and so on resource usage requirements vary from one website to another. you must tell us about what website u wanna make, then we can estimate about how much space and bandwidth is required by your site.

Most sites won't need more than around 500MB max, and certainly nowhere near 10GB, unless you happen to be Ebay, Facebook or some other large site for example.
