Block Visitor from some country

How to block my website data from the visitor that come from some country. I do this reason because to prevent my cute website from hacker that come from a country. I am afraid my webhosting site down.

I think that for that you woill need base of ips belong for the certain country. That might be (as rule) paid base.

I think you must check your isp domain like that, and then you contact admin for your server ip hosting.

I'm not sure, but you have to make a .htaccess file which would deny access to all the ip's that belong to this country.

But how can people hack your website, i really don't get this.How is that possible?I mean :-) I know that this is possible but in what ways hackers do it, or give some info about how this happens.
