Question about hosting and domains...

At first I thought this would give you a domain name with hosting. As I read on, I think it means we only get a domain name.

So, do we get just a domain name? If so, I think I will use one of the free hosting services (There's a ton of those, but you don't get free domains...)

Also, if any of you know free web hosting sites, which ones are fastest, always up, and require no ads?

I think free host not be a winner to versur pay host. With always pay one hoat can me increase for bandwith server on hosting place.My experience like that.

Flow Internet have a great free hosting service, they have a very respectable uptime, no enforced adverts etc. - it is subdomain only.

They offer very low cost domains though, and you can then use their domain control panel to point to the free hosting, but I dont think you'll find domain names for free.

Some of web hosting companies offers free domain for free as bonus and they are offering paid web hosting. Also I have seen several domain name registrars offering domain names and web hosting as bonuce. Anyway you will need to pay for something.

It doesn't seem like anyone answered right...

You can get free domain names for 900 points (or $15 via Paypal for 2000 points) here at HostBidder. One time I accidentally found some old posts saying that you could get hosting, MySQL databases, email forwarding, or other similar things for your HB points, and I asked about it and HostBidder said that those things were no longer valid.

Anyhow, no, you can't get hosting here.
I use www.110mb.com as my host. It's pretty good; it's fast, it's pretty much always up, I think it has an 8 MB limit per file, no advertisements, etc. It doesn't come with MySQL databases or other things like that, but you can buy such features later if you want...

I think the fastest, always up and require no advertisment is freehostia.com, this freehosting provide to the user 250 MB with 1 data base and have own control panel.

A lot of sites just sell hosting, some time their sell hosting with free domain. I think for me, i'm more like used hostbidder and joomjump for free domain and free hosting.

I don't think you will be able to get a free domain name in a free hosting plan, still you should pay for either of this or get a free domain name at this forum.
You can google for free hosting providers lists, they are posted rather often now at the forums, while free domains are given in lunarpages.com and marblehost.com plans.

This site offered pay hosting with free domain, isn't? when i look at packe of their hosting offered to me pay the hosting and i wiil get free domain after that. But i not understand about this statement from home plan. Their said "To activate The Home plan, you should prepay a year in advance" what their mean for a year in advance?
