A friend looking for hosting!

A friend of mine started a Greek site about hip-hop about two months ago. Right now he is hosted with a Greek company, paying 18€ per month, for 1GB HDD, 20GB B/W.

His site has gotten bigger from then, and his current hosting plan is not enough, simple as that. Also, he cannot afford to pay more than 20€ per month, so we had to look in foreign providers.

He presented me with some plans he found, but I see all of them are "too good to be true" stuff. I saw things like 200GB of space for like $9 per month, or similar. Impossible, as we all know.

I have just one small plan for my personal needs with a local provider, so my experience with hosters is limited. And I need to find a decent hosting plan for him, from a reliable company (no overselling or etc.) having in mind his budget.

His site being a hip-hop portal, media files need to be uploaded. He is looking for more than 50 GBs, if possible of course with such a small budget.

I would like the experienced, to give me some hosting plans close to his expectations, from companies of course that are known to be serious and to be trusted, so I can examine their TOS, and decide with him.

What are you looking for btw? More than 50GB bandwidth or space?

Instead paying hundreds of dollars (or euro which is in your case) why don't you use a free hosting service. There are some great ones like zymic.com . They are offering 2Gb disc space and 35Gb bandwidth. You can upload all of the media files for download on a free file sharing service like ziddu.com . They are not just offering unlimiter file upload but also a free movie and audio streaming. They are also paying you for every unique download which means that you will make some money from you site.
