Tips That Can Avoid Hacking of Sites:

1. Set all your passwords to something very difficult to guess. This includes control panel passwords and paswords to an admin areas of your scripts. a good example would be somethin like ~th15*p455w0rd*15*n0t*345y*t0*gu355~
2. Research your scripts before installing them. There are alot of insecure scripts that can leave you vunerable.
3. Use a host that has some sort of brute force protection installed on the server.
4. Make sure your host also has a firewall installed on the server.
5. Use commone sense

Hmm.. I think backing up files will be the most important thing right now.. We can't prevent hackers.. They will just find a way to have a server..

I cannot understand what do this hackers get if they hack a server that only contains blog sites??

yup.....regular backup of files is very much a gotta-do task nowadays.

abt your second question....i dont think the hackers were after a "blog" site.....they just wanted a server to hack into......

I am not sure how you back up your site though. Is that hard to do?
Can I change my passwords without too much hassle? I don't want to get blocked out.
