When you buy VPS?

Hi,
When you are planning to buy virtual private server what are the main things to have a consider about?
do we have to buy control panel or other admin panel.

Virtual Private Servers are divided into two main categories, unmanaged VPS, and managed VPS.

Unmanaged VPS plans usually do not include a control panel, and the provider does not provide you with any kind of support. They only provide the network and the hardware. If you want support and a control panel, you will have to pay extra for it. cPanel control panel usually costs $12 to $15/month extra.

Managed VPS plans include both a control panel (usually cPanel) and full support. However they often cost considerably more than unmanaged VPS plans as the provider has to pay for both support and control panel license fees on top of the cost of delivering the VPS.

If you're new to a VPS, definitely get a managed VPS, or you will be lost with the unmanaged budget solution.

A lot of web hosting companies send notification to their customers and ask them to move to VPS. So please do not worry you will be contacted by your host and asked to move if needed.

As rule customers want the same control panel as thy used on the shared web hosting. And I think that is logical. So when you will chose your VPS provider chose the one with the same CP as you had on your shared web hosting account.
