Making Your Own VPS?

I was searching around google,when I found out how to make my own VPS but it will make my computer unusable. I was wondering how I can make only like 5gb of my computers disk space into a VPS? is it possible or does it have to be my whole computer because i don't want to waste my whole entire computer.

If it is going to use your whole computer I believe that is something what we call dedicated server

You can use proxmox template to start, however to manage your server you will need technical expertise.

Try to install diffierent virtulization software if you are using windows try virtual box

Never heard about hosts providing such opportunities, you can get a dedicated server from any of them and then play with it the way you like.
