Does anyone know where I could get free VPS Hosting? I'm trying to get used to all types of web hosting, but can't get a hold of a VPS host to play with, will anyone help me?

I believe there is no free VPS hosting.

BTW, I don't quite understand. You open several threads, and in one of them mention already have a VPS with root access.

Free VPS hosting is scam IMHO.

I have never seen free VPS hosting and I do not think you will be able to find this.

At one point in time, 000webhost attempted to give free VPS in order to get their traffic booming even more..

They figured out it wasn't worth the traffic, and then got rid of it, mainly because it was to much to give for free...
Although, you can get some very cheap/great VPS service from 000webhost.. I used their VPS (paid) service before.

I can see how a Free VPS could be viable as an advertising tool..

There are several sites one for sure that is similar to this one geared specifically for hosting and has a lot of hosting companies that are offering VPS.

I have never seen free VPS hosting and I do not think you will be able to find this.

Some companies offer it for free too. Sure, as with any free hosting, there are limitations on how much you can spread out across the system. The basic idea remains though, and that is you have a completely separate and independent environment for your development and hosting needs.

nobody is going to give a free (post to host) vps anytime soon unless the post count required is 100+ a month and its limited in ram and hdd space
