I follow if he/she followed me, to make it fair for him/her. but i follow some of them if they're in my yahoo or gmail account contacts.

If it's relevant to my website, i will follow that user too. Of course you want quality traffic then you must select your followers if they will help or not.

If it is of interest, then I will follow, when it ceases to interest me then I will stop following.

I unfollow people who send me to many dm's or if they are posting links every 1/2 hour. I may not market but being in content I am in the business too. Therefore, I have nothing against self promotion, but a constant stream is a little much.

People that only regugitate links to sites=unfollow, if they have interesting tweets, relevant to my business or are an aquintance=follow
