No it shouldn't cause suspension. But you are limited to how many people you can follow in regards to how many are following you. Once you reach 2,000 or so, you can only follow about 200 more than are following you.

I only use Twitter for my websites cause I'm not interested in tweeting. It's just for marketing and setup to automatically tweet. Anyone here like using it for personal reasons?

If you do that in extensive way, it may not be treated positively and should not be as well. You can do that by taking time, or if you need more followers within short time, you can buy.
