Facebook Promotion

I recently heard that Facebook is the most popular social website but surprisingly I haven't used it may be because in India Orkut has more popularity. I want to ask your experiences with Facebook if you tried it.

And yea, Orkut is the most popular social network in India, but even Facebook is competing close to it and Facebook is good too. Infact it has more apps than Orkut.

i have used both facebook and orkut, infact i'm still using both these social networking sites.. in india orkut is the most popular site.. facebook is good too and i think it offers better privacy than orkut..

Facebook is probably better than MySpace for product marketing because it isn't nearly as cluttered and most of the users are old enough to have their own disposable income.

Well facebook is pretty much like Myspace, but the main difference i guess is the age of people who are using it. In my space the average age of people using it ( by my opinion ) is like 13-25 - young people ( of course there are people like 50 or more years old, but this are the main people using it ) and facebook has a higher average age like 18-50

Facebook is good for the exception of not being able to use html. Unless I'm missing something, so far I've only been able to post text.

facebook and orkut both are good for networking....

I also have a Facebook ID,and now I want to promote my site with facebook.But I also use Myspace to promote.I come across the bad thing my Myspace ID has been forbidden to access to the forum.what is happen to me ?how can I make somebody allow to access the forum ?

For me, Facebook is the best Social Networking Site. It is easy to promote the website as long as you're not spamming. Facebook is also best traffic maker.
