How much time for indexing?

How much time does it takes to start indexing the pages from a submitted xml sitemap in google webmasters?
I have submitted an XML sitemap with over 100 urls about 1-2 weeks ago, still no pages have been indexed by google webmaster tools.

There is no fixed time, it depends on various parameters like your site age and popularity.
For my site the pages I submit via sitemap are usually indexed within a day or two.

Hi!

You can change crawl rate for your site in Webmaster Tools (I'm using 350%).
You can find it in a Site configuration>Settings
But before changing rate you must have approved sitemap.

try to update your sitemap of some sites and resubmit the sitemap in google webmaster tool and after few days check again pages will be cached definitely.

I think no once can give you the fix time for that. but I think may a week or two.

Submitting sitemap.xml to Google webmaster tool won't assure you that your site will get indexed. It is just to inform Google crawlers that your site is available for crawling. There is no specific time on when it'll be indexed.

It all depends, you could submit your site or get more backlinks to your site.

Now a day, Google indexes sites quickly. Try to submit your url to digg and other social bookmarking sites. It will be indexed soon.
