soo after about a month of practice, and CnC from different websites, this is what i've come up with.

Looks LQ, Flat, the colors don't work well, the text doesn't look good and your focal point is centered.

i kinda screwed up the text, w/ the white. couldnt delete it because i put it on a finished layer in a different session.

not a fan of the color combos, however I do like the rising sun effect behind the chick lol
