Default The Frog Prince - Wallpaper

Hey! I have just released the wallpaper that I made out of the other Frog Prince art project.

Just head over to the blog post and download any of the three versions (for different resolutions).

Well dude i think that your project is really nice i loved your vector , but this wallpaper thing isnt good for this thing , you have just added kalalog on the side and thats it! you have to add something else also or make the background ( forest for the whole background ) I think you might understand what i am saying.

    Regards
    Ace.

Well, it was not a vector to begin with. It was a digital painting - and I made the mistake of doing it in a small canvas.

So, I did not have anything to fill it up with. Hence, I went for that minimal approach. Keep subject on one end. Minimal subtitles on the other. The two sides (horizontally) forms the facing pages of the book (tying the analogy to fairy tale book).

Yeah, it does look vacant. Next time, I will do my artworks on larger canvas.

It's cute, but difficult to work with. Can you take the image, and create some sort of sidebar theme around it? It'll be a lot more usable for most people.

Exclamation Lack of MOVING wallpapers available!?!

There are literally thousands of websites offering wallpapers... yet i have rarely come accross any providing moving wallpapers!
Why can't they start using GIF animation and create wallpapers with some movement... instead of dull still images.
If one wants to keep switching pictures of wallpaper then one needs to install something like Webshots software... which nicely eats up system resources...!
It is after all this frustration that I myself took the initiative to make GIF wallpapers that keep changing pictures without any software. Just download the GIF image and set it as the wallpaper. Simple.
You can check them out at

and although all i did was make picture-switching wallpapers, will someone with more free time kindly take the initiative to put up some with real motion...?

Could you elaborate a bit on that RDrapster? A bit confused on that.

Hmmm. That is some serious animation effort. I definetly do not have that much of free time. I barely get time to do 'stills'. But I guess, as a collaboration effort, one can get this done.
