    Default My site is stuck on Top 2nd page since long

    Hello all,

    I have my website Guildford Town News, Events, Business, Jobs, Property.
    I am struggling to get it on the 1st page of google.co.uk but since long it has been on the top of the second page.

    Can anyone advise any tips so i push it on the 1st page.

    maybe it because your blog is slow to load... you can see performance on Google Webmaster Tool

    You need to target the UK directories and try to acquire backlinks for uk website.than you will see a change

    You need more backlinks from UK websites, blogs, social websites and web and article directories

    You have plenty of competitors in Search Engine that is one of the reason why you're struggling to push your site in top 1 Google Search Engine. Another factor is geographical location, because there are many websites in UK and it's hard to optimize your web page and build a quality backlinks. Here are some of my suggestions:
    • You should build more quality backlinks that relates to your website
    • You should concentrate the content of your web page because bot gives weight for having a fresh, unique and quality content.
    • Build also a quality backlink in your geographic location(UK sites).

    Do a competitoner analysis for your keywords.Build more back links and do a proper On-page optimization.

    Maybe try submitting your article to Digg.com. They have a high pagerank. Just add the keywords for your keyword that displays your website as your
    article title and have those keywords in your description box from Digg. This may help get higher page rank. Good Luck.
