Don't bother with directories. They are a waste of time. The only two directories you should proceed for is DMOZ and Yahoo.

Wouldn't bother with DMOZ either, total waste of effort. There have been som many sites that have been submitted but not listed, not even a response from the DMLOZ editors. Even Google is giving up on DMOZ. Some of the small directories are superior. Its not just for ranking, think about POTENTIAL traffic too.
