what's exactly kind of your target ? Did you intend to link your blog to high PR directories ? or link high PR directories to your blog ?

Yes, if your blog have pr already then it can pass pr link juice to your homepage.

I think you want to increase you Google PR. If you blog have good PR and is relevant to your website, then it's good to link your website. But if it is not relevant to your website then it's not a good idea.
