Black Hat SEO can give you fast results if it's done properly. It requires skills, timing, and right attitude. If you aim to get a good result from it, you must also think of the possible danger it can bring to your site so right attitude must be applied when doing BH SEO

this is the most discussed topic and we all know the difference between them but 99 % of all seo's are still not doing the pure white hat seo...what tactics they are using not comes under the white hat seo..it is the mixture of the white hat and the black hat....

Black Hat will get you there faster, in terms of making money, but Google and Yahoo will catch up with you and you can get banned.
