I agree, once the website caught by Search Engine bot like Google using a Black Hat Technique. The website will be penalized or banned especially in Google, and sad to say the website can't get more traffic from other Major Search Engine like Yahoo and MSN.

Actually I encountered from other forum site, he posted his about about penalized/banned by Google to his website. Even he's not mentioning the reason why his website banned by Google we know he is using a Black Hat Technique.

Black Hat SEO uses unethical ways in order to get back links. It doesn't follow rules and regulations. Cloaking, hidden text, door-way pages, and keyword stuffing are just some of the techniques that falls under black hat.

cloaking when done right is hard to detect...basically you create lots of spammy pages and when somebody clicks on your link in the serp he will be redirected to your landing page - that way you could end up getting thousands of visitors...

Now that you already know about black hat then don't ever try to follow it. Because it will get your websites banned in Google.

BTW I heard in other forums that a combination of a little black hat is also a good... Do you agree?

That would make wiki one of the biggest blackhat link farms in the world then, haven't seen google penalise them yet, wonder why......
