Build first a website before doing any optimzation.. After, do ON PAGE...After ON PAGE, DO OFF PAGE(seo)... And part of doing an off page optimization is making a blog which is unique then have a link pointing to your site and start searching where to find link juice(s) all over the net and as much as possible...do it in organic way
