I am using php for programming and I want to make user friendly URL. Will it be good for SEO purpose? What type of link will give me more benefits in SEO.

You can rewrite url by using mod rewrite. You should modify your htaccess file in order to rewrite your dynamic urls to user friendly / seo friendly url.

are you creating a new site from scratch or just using a CMS? Have you tried CMS yet? Its more convenient to use and highly customizable. Try it. It will be much easier to configure the friendliness of the URLs of the site this way plus managing the content of the site will be much faster.

I think you might want to use some add-on to rewrite your dynamic url into user friendly url. It all depends on what scripts you used in building your sites.
