If they're any questions about SEO you would like to know, you can ask me here. I've been a Webmaster for over 6 years and know my stuff. Meaning I've spent Thousands of hours researching online. Tried nearly every method and bought countless products, costing thousands of dollars.

I know what works and what doesn't, but most importantly what's working going into 2012. I'm a member of several Forums including some elite ones. See a lot of New guys trying to find their way in this online market. Most are not caught-up with the newer methods and risk getting left behind or giving up.

After creating or after launch your website? before launching your website first complete the onpage SEO, if your question about after launching then first submit your website in all search engine (but I never do this but tell you what I read ), select the keywords and first try to through the traffic on your website through social media and then start link building.

Actually there are step before onpage SEO, which is select a good domain. Select domain is most foundation step.

Sorry guys wasn't watching the thread. I wouldn't say there's something to do 1st, but start building Quality backlinks. Your easiest and least costly method would be Article Marketing to the Top Directories with quality articles. ie. ezine articles,goarticles
Then backlink those articles with quality social bookmarking(url.org,Digg,Stumbleupon,Reddit,Jump Tags). It's a Tiered approach that will help the most now days.
Don't bother with new/low quality article directories or bookmarking sites. As I see those for sale online everyday, they have a reputation for failing/going out of business daily. So your links would disappear on them as well. Your links on the Top sites will stay for years.

You are correct about steps before On-Page or Off-Page SEO.
There's only 5 steps to building successful websites. How involved each step is, is another story.

1.Know who your target audience is
2.Keyword Research
3.Domain Name selection
4.On-Page SEO
5.Off-Page SEO

Does these Mirror Image web pages have the same identical content?
Canonical URL's are an issue with SEO. You can be penalized by the search engines for duplicate content on the same site. If you are using WordPress for your site you can download a Plugin that will take care of this problem.
