New Download Section?

What do you guys think about adding a Downloads Area to PromoJunkie.com Forums; something like I did here:

Webmaster Forums: Forum Community of Webmasters

In short its a Download Area that will allow users to download and upload resources to help amend the needs of others..

Any input on this?

BTW adding download section will be cool. We will share themes, scripts etc easly

I have seen a number of download sections on other forums, some good and some not so good. The success of this really depends upon the content of the download available. In principle I think its a sound idea.

I couldn't agree more, if we do decide to do this I think we should only allow good content.

It means that the usergroup(s) "members & contributors" will be able to share files in the download area.

In order to distribute you should have permission of the copyright holder to do so. If you write the apps/downloads yourself that's OK. If you have someone upload them, then checking the T&Cs box (after reading and agreeing) then thats OK too.
