Default Are the working class people slaves?

To me it's like employers are wanting more bang for their buck? Do you think minimum wage is enough for the tasks that are being asked?

I'm not sure where it is you're living, but in the real world, or at least in the US portion of it, many employers seem to feel they "own" their employees; that they have the right to make all sorts of demands on their time, without paying extra for it, or even to pay fair and reasonable wages for the job contracted for in the first place. Minimum wage hasn't been a "living wage" in this country for decades, even for a single person. And low income people are often in economic thrall to their jobs, simply because they can't afford to quit and find other work, especially now with jobs so scarce and so many already unemployed in this nation. So yes, this is a kind of economic enslavement, and it looks to be getting worse, not better here, for the foreseeable future.

Agree with you there, emloyers seem to want (and expect) a lot more than they are paying for. As for the minimum wage its at least a mechanism that means that everybody working SHOULD have a livable income, but this in not necessarily true. In the UK some people receive more on benefit (social security) than they would with an income, where's the incentives for the lower paid to work? (or even the higher paid with some employers attitudes?)

That would be good but some employer needs to save money especially if the company is newly launched.

I think a lot of this "slavery" comes from the corporate infrastructure of America. In small business(which can be very lucrative), only a handful of people have the tools/knowledge to make it a success. Therefore the greater group of Americans are stuck being placed in food, retail, automotive, and construction fields where 10 to 12 dollars an hour is hard to make ends meet. In a sense, you have to be the owner or your being owned.

I think If our employer pay extra on extra time or give bonus for good work, But employer save the money and share the handsome profit to employees.
