hey, any one give the exact tutorial notes about file handling in the php,means how can we open,read,write,write with append mode,close file,delete file,open directory,delete directory ... means all basic operation of file system. I have gone through to the Google but , there is not any tutorial which gives satisfaction..!!

are you talking about xml file or text file please be specific so we can answer your question for text file you can use fread , fopen and fwrite
