    Default Starting point to learn PHP?

    Any suggestions for a starting point to learn PHP? I figured its about time that I get my lazy ass up in the air and start doing something! I googled a bit but I haven?t really found any good site/portal yet? Thanks!

    or buy an online subscription to lynda.com
    a guy named micheal skuglond in there teaches object oriented php programming and its very effective.
    he teaches from setting up in you localhost to object oriented php and to the development.

    The best way to easy to learn a PHP just read the PHP book, while you reading just type the sample program because it is very easy to understand those codes and logic if your run the sample program that you read in a PHP book.

    Try to learn syntax and loops of php and then you can go for mysql programming using php and then go for advance techniques
