    Exclamation Paypal Fees

I have some doubts about paypal policies.
At very first time when i got my 10$ payment, paypal did not charged me.
But from 15th june they changed policies.
    I got my 20$ and 5$ payments,and paypal cut 1.08$ and 0.5$ respectively.
    Any comment on this?

Is your payment received is through credit card paypal payment? if yes, then it is correct because paypal is charging fees to all the transaction through credit card payment. Another possibility is you are having business or personal premier account.

No, you shouldn't confuse with the paypal account. There are 3 types of account there, personal premier and business account will incurred charges when receiving funds, but for personal starter account, you won't get any charges for receiving funds unless it is from credit card payment and certain payment type.

I think the thread starter is referring to personal starter account.

paypal charges 4% for services transaction. Now they started charging even for the others' transaction.

I think, they had to warn you about their rates and fees. How could it happen that you didn't know about their new fees?
