    Default tips for Protecting Your Paypal (Others too) A/c

    I have few tips for protecting your paypal accounts. If you know it then good, if you dont then Say thanks

    1) Never Click Links from email
    2) Use virtual keyboard to type password
    3) Or copy password from your machine
    4) Clear cookies every time you complete work on paypal
    5) Try avoiding use in Cyber cafes

    thanks for reminding.
    don't click links from email. you can actually see the link below your browser. those webpage seem like a page of paypal yet look at the link if it really is. it should look like https://www.paypal.com not

    http//wemdksdksnds.info/sdndnd/paypal.com
    because this is a link from a password cracker.

    It's better to type in the address to be 100% sure than click any link really. Beware also any emails that have a generic title addressing you like Dear Customer as opposed to your name. And don't click any links that say report this email as that will go to the scammers too if it's fake. Go to the official site by typing in the address and find how to do so from there.

    Please press the "Thanks" Button in posts you like, don't post to say "Thanks".

    THank you for the tips I never click paypal links from the email. But Avoiding in the cafe is difficult for me.

    thank you very much..paypal is limiting account if you made your self in the safe side..its suckes any ways

    thanks for the tips, but whats the point in using a virtual keyboard to type the password? A key-logger maybe? In that case copy/pasting from a file on the pc wouldn't be much better if the computer is already infested with such stuff

    Urvisoni is perfectly right about it. If you copy and paste it then How will keylogger capture it? It will capture only ctrl+c and ctrl+v

    If you are new to paypal then above tips are very helpful to you. Always take care of your paypal account as it provides instant transfer of fund.
