PAYPAL hacking

Has anyone experienced hacking account on paypal.I've just lost my 50$ from my account and so as my friend.Both account were hacked by same id.
Any suggestions?

not exactly,but i guess there may be a keylogger on any site which i visited.but i am wondering how my friend's account is hacked on same day by same user?

i'm not sure about keyloggers but it won't work well on sites unless its installed or tapped behind your machine or the intruder is in your network. Paypal is secure as https://.

did both of you logged-on on the same computer?

I think when you logged-on paypal account in outside your home, you not properly logged off.

no we haven't logged on from same pc.and i am sure every time i have logged off correctly.

try changing the answers on your security questions, i think that might prevent it next time if you didn't get phished, theres also a method of cookie stealing, try not to click links either let alone being phished.

It's weird. Did they really just transferred $50? Is that all the money you have in your account?

I'd cease using this account and destroy it. And then create a grand new one.

As far as I know, paypal doesnt store password cookies on users computer, there's a cookie only for email. About keyloggers, you can try virtual keyboards,
since keylogger is detecting pressed keys on keyboard, this way they cant do that. But, Im never to sure about anything
Virtual keyboard is for example part of kaspersky internet security, and you could use it for logging on sites like paypal.

3 month ago someone hack my id and use my 40$ i try to complne but i naver get back that money
