    Default Offline Marketing

    Which type of offline marketing do you use to market your website or product. Do you use any small product like calendar or diary to market your website or product?

    I have never market my site through offline marketing. The newspaper marketing, paper ads, big banner ads is the good source for offline marketing.

    I would like to do something like this also. My niche is Financial, so I think it would be alittle hard to do. Maybe buy an ad in a Financial Magazine or Paper. Being in the Finance market it may be costly.
    I need to advertise on Wall Street.

    Tried the following with various degrees of sucess;
    • Business networking (needs a lot of business cards)
    • Local newspapers advertising
    • Targetted mailshots
    • Sponsorship
    Offline marketing can be just as hard work as online, but often with better results. In business the web is another marketing opportunity.

    I have only tried it once (newspapers advertising) for an old herbal coffee site I had. This site actually did great. I think a lot that had to do with it was the fact that I was giving free samples+ shipping. That boosted the sites profit very well.

    I've never really tried offline marketing for a website, other than word of mouth to a few friends of mine. I can see how newspapers might work and maybe tv ads (if you can afford it), but other than that, what else could you do? Hand out flyers at school?

    In Australia there are many people starting to advertise on late night television, if you advertisement was something like "why are you up so late, dreading work tomorrow, then visit such and such to make money online" or even for a specialty adult forum or something the results can be quite good, especially when you get someone to make the advertisment for $20 and it saves forking out even more for the company to make it for you.

    Offline advertising is more important than online advertising. I have personally experienced my traffic improved after I pasted some stickers to promote my website. There are many offline methods to promote your website.

    There was a post that I read on a forum the other day. Basically what the guy did, was that he had about 300 flyers printed up, and he went to his local pizza delivery outlets, and paid them to deliver his flyers along with the pizzas
