Problem with joomla installed using fantastico with free host
Well, just today I installed a free Joomla script in my host freehostia. But after installation, I'm not able to understand how to create web pages using Joomla.
See now I can see the page below after installation. Can you tell me how to create webpage from this link? What shall I do here to create web page?

First you must log-in and go to the admin panel and there you can edit/delete/create posts, categories, and sections or if you want to edit any post on the front page simply click on the Edit button.
For more details/tutorials go to this site Joomla Tutorials

Well, just I noticed there was an email from the host having the link to access admin control panel. After I login into to the admin panel, I'm confused how to create pages and layouts as there are many labels and options, so I don't know how to exactly create web pages using those options.

Joomla is hard to use for beginners you should better change to a another CMS or read some tutorials on how to create pages with joomla if you follow the tutorials step by step you will learn it and it would be easy.

It doesn't look like an MySQL database has been set up properly. Fantastico should have given you this url to go to to login to your joomla CMS panel to create articles.yousitedomainname/administrator/ I've never seen the /Joomla_1.5.7 extension before.
I'd delete the sub domain and start again. Presumably when you use Fantastico the last screen that comes up gives you the link to where you can start administering your site.
Personally I would not use a free host for a Joomla site as you can run into all sorts of problems and of course there's not much support. I'd use HostGator as you if you just want one site it costs as little at $4.95 per month. You won't get ranked well on search engines on free hosting either so not a good idea.
Joomla is indeed difficult for beginners but simple to use once you know how. Very few beginners can learn it for themselves. You might want to take a quick course at Learn Joomla Fast here so you're up and away within 24 hours.
