look at the joomla template files and stick the tracking code in there.

I just put the tracking code in either the header or footer of the template in a spot where I can easily locate it. Since tracking code is invisible on the page, it doesn't really matter where you put it, but I recommend the header or footer, because they're the same on every page.

So I download file of index.php on my current template then edit it, after that I re upload it ?

Yes, or I thought there was an option in the admin panel to edit the template files. If so, then you could just add the code in that. I don't have an installation of Joomla to check, though.

It is easy, you just open your Joomla Administrator. Then you open current templates then click edit HTML. Then You copy-pasting your tracking code at the footer of your joomla templates.

You also can use Mod_html to put your extremetracking code at your website. Step by step to add your extremetracking code at your website :

    1. Download Mod_HTML in Joomla.org or in the official website at http://www.fijiwebdesign.com/compone...,90/Itemid,76/

    2. Install this module.
    3. Add your extremetracking code in Mod_HTML then publish it.
