play ppc with big player if you like and know what you are doing, but the best is always to go with original SEO

IMO Better to invest in promotion, link building, directory submission, article submission, social networking etc.

If you really want to drive traffic to your site, then investing in SEO is best option. It can get you good organic traffic to your site.

Exept if you invest in Adwords / Facebook similar ... but that's expensive ....
