Thread: How To Keep Visitors On Your Website Longer ??

Thumbs up How To Keep Visitors On Your Website Longer ??

How can you keep your visitors on your website longer?

I experienced, that the more interactive the website is, the longer the surfer will stay and eventually buy your product.

    How to do it?

You should involve others in your website content.

The fact is that when people feel included, they come back again and again, often bringing people with them and they also stay longer on your website too.

Even a simple page where questions and comments can be posted will make a big difference.

Off course a blog is a good way to interact with your audience aswell as forums.

A good place to interact with others you can find here.

Blogs are easier and faster to set up though.

    Good luck!

    Thumbs up Thank You

I have been trying to deal with the Bounce Rate as reported in my tracking software for my website. But your
advice in involving people in your site activities makes them feel as though they are involved, is sound good advice...I will incorporate this info in my future plans of
    website promotions......Aloha and take care

guess it depends to your contents. to keep them coming back, your contents must be interesting and of course they'll learn thru it. i often bookmarked these sites especially if i like it.
most probably tutorials is very effective to improve bounce rate.

a chatbox probably. this way they'll look after your reply in the chatbox. especially to the visitors that keep that didn't get what they expect to see in your site.

Ther's no simple solution to this. The key is to keep your site interesting with features that the readers want to use, and this is not the same for each site. One key activity is to keep some freshly updated content.

Write and provide what your readers are actually looking for and provide "timeless" content that gets bookmarked a lot, provide / give away freebies, offer special benefices to subscribers, just my 2 cents, SY

I believed it is also depend on your niche, you cannot always get all the online users-audiences. Meaning, there are people that are into entertainment, education, sports, etc...Therefore, it's best to know your audiences and keep daily post(s) of news and articles...

Create interesting blog and always target specific traffic for you to have a good bounce rate on your traffic statistics. Also to have an interesting blog, you need a catchy title to seduce the readers to read your blog post.

Well I only stay and come back to a site if it has tools I need or new content. I guess at times I've played games as well.
