Press releases and directory submissions

I think press releases, link exchanges and directory submissions could be a keyfactor in IM success.

I made good experience posting links on directories in particular.

I haven't tried Link exchange but press release is really good in having traffic, I have tried it before maybe I will try it again.

there are tons of directories, dofloow blogs, search engines etc that you can submit ur sites to.

once it gets picked up, ur natural traffic will also improve.

Probably cant help, but the bigger thing here I would say is don't pay for no-name dir submissions. Ive been looking at directories and it seems like so many are just money sinks that have you pay (sometimes residual payments) for what I imagine amounts to nothing more than wasted cash.

I've never had much luck with directories. Most don't even get fully indexed. Unless it's a local directory that you are putting a business listing in I have found them to be a waste of time.

Article directories are a much better source of traffic for me. I leverage that with backlinks to get me good SERPs.

Link exchanges from popular blogs can bring you some good traffic but Google frowns upon link exchanges.

I have no experianced about press release, but webdirectory and social bookmarking really works, they help to index and ranked hight at google

Really press release and directory submissions works good but link exchange....i don't think it's good ....
