All people in the construction business make money, why is that?

Aside from having a successful business, almost everyone in the construction business, big or small, make money! Is there tax evasion or something?

I think it all depends on what part of the country you are in. I know that every employer that my husband has worked for in the Pennsylvania area has had trouble making payroll, so for smaller cities, construction companies will not be quite so successful.
