Google have about 70% of the search market while Microsoft and Yahoo have recently joint forces to tackle the Google giant. who will be the most profitable in the long run?

Google is one of the best search engine. most people are search from google

yeah, currently people do, but the issue raised was more about the future and how other players like Msoft and Yahoo could turn the tables.

Google is now the SE leader, it would be hard to get defeated by current SEs.

bing is now bigger than yahoo search, but i still prefer using google of course, hmm wonder will SE bigger than google in the future?

well has anyone tried Wolfram|Alpha a search engine which provides solid statistical data that is straight to the point, unlike Google Yahoo and Bing where a search creates a list that you have to wade through. Just an interesting search engine tool thats pretty new. Definitely worth a look

I'd go for Google. Most reliable and most easy to use. I get all my questions answered searching through Google.

google will still win over them and will somehow compete with linux systems and windows with their OS chrome and browser.

But others can bring you traffic too. I will do SEO for all engines. It is a good way for you to submit your site to all searching engines.
