Social networking sites are so popular these days. Do you think marketing using these sites is a good idea to get traffic to your site?

I think they're a great idea, but getting any results might be a bit tough. It seems to me you kinda have to know what you're doing in order to make that kind of thing work.

Social networking, and the method of posting your url to the social networking websites doesn't have as big an impact in the serps as it used to. I still use social bookmarking but mix it up between that, directory submissions, and article marketing.

Yes i have been using social book marking sites, and it has shown positive effect... Some are really good sites like digg, stumbleupon, twitter etc.

Everyday billions of people join the social networking website and spread that.

Yeah these websites are one of the best place for free traffic. i have seen on DP that companies buy popular profiles
