You can use following techniques to get the traffic

    1) Directory Submission
    2) Forum postings
    3) Forum signatures
    4) Article submission

Nikon, some people swear by the top being the best. Others don't. The only way you can find out for definite is by trial and error. Try the same ads in different positions to see what kind of interest they generate where. You'll need to monitor your stats to determine which positions get the most attention.

I added a thread here about a web tool you might be interested in, nikon. It shows you what your visitor's eyes are drawn to and in what order on your page and maps it.

I have observed that when I keep my ads at the top or right hand side bar I am getting lots of traffic, so I always prefer to do that way.

    Hope it will help you.

All you have to do is to make your ads not affecting the users concentration or experience, I have found left side rectangle ads just before contents bring more clicks. I dont know it it affects traffic.

I always place my adds at the top, in the right hand corner. in most cases, it seems to be the first place a person looks when he/she/they look up. Have a try now, look up

The best place is to put below ur header coz header is the heart of a site n we cannot put anything above it. below the attractive header everybody will be attracted to the ad`s.
I wish to change the world, but they don`t provide me the source. HACK - 'R'
