developing OS and create a forum for it. - good idea?

i've been playing with linux from scratch lately- i tried installing it in partition and it work not good for now. but will it be a good idea if i got support from my friends and work with it and finally distribute the OS, create a forum for support and monetize the forum. dyou think it will be profitable?

Why not try it? We will not know until try it.
But you should work hard in promoting a forum because competition is so tight.
Monetizing forum is OK, but not in a first purpose please
Serve your member first.

yeah. but then that idea would be a lot of work too. i guess this would mean i need a lot of people and should be skilled in such field
