I'm listing some good techniques which are quite effective in marketing your website. Feel free to add your own.

2. Press releases
3. Email to VIPs
4. Article submission
5. Reciprocal Links
6. Forum Posting
7. Directory submission
8. Tell everyone with whom you communicate
9. Post ads to free advertising website
10. Blogging
11. Social Bookmarking/networking sites, such as StumbleUpon, Digg, etc
12. Paid advertising
13. Contests, giveaways, etc

1. Add a small HTML Tag or link about your site on other sites...ie. link back...

Traffic exchange can also promote your site. Such as Entrecard or some thing like that. You'll get traffic, back link and networking.

I dont think that it will be a good move at all. Google dont encourage traffic exchange and whats the use of those traffic which are not targeted at all. those traffic wouldn't add up anything to the conversion ratio.

Link exchanges with complimentary sites.

there are lots of do follow forum like promojunkie and others so also try forum posting..

This site is for you to learn webmaster skill and various way of making money online. It is not for promoting your own site, but of course you can put your site links to ask for member opinion.

What you means by 70 chac? I don't get it.

I would add Youtube...and tubeplays.com two videos about my web shop and asked those guys to get me rating.
I bought , comments, ranking, 100K channel views, for little money , I might add.
It worked for me. Google found me fast and I found myself on the second position of my main Keyword page in 2 weeks.
The sales are going well and I'm thinking on hiring them again for my wife's beauty shop web page.
I'm not saying it does not sound stupid but for me whatever gives results ...while I am still young...works.
I guess it would work for any business.

yes. yahoo answers works for me too.
you just have to answer good and don't post a general link but post the related link or solutions to the answer orelse you get banned in yahoo answers.
