By the time you find a book that get’s you rich in a day you’ll be collecting social security, it’s time you figure it out on your own. Here are some things to remember and experiment with. Pick one and only one product, you have a better chance to be successful if the product is more unique than the rest; take note you don’t have to know that much about it because you can always learn. Now once you have a product then check your competition and see what the cheapest one is selling for. Places to check are Amazon, ebay, craigslist, Oodle, usfreeads, and kijii just to name a few. Now you must write down all prices for the product you did research for and where you got the prices from. Now here is where your research comes into play, go to wholesale websites such as alibaba.com, take note if a website is selling a single item and not items in bulk, they are posing as wholesalers and they probably are not. If your competition is selling your product for $10 and you can find it for 4$ each if you buy a 100 of them you’ll be in good shape. Let’s say you pay $400 for 100 then factor in shipping and the cost to list the product (probably not more than a $1 to list) will round it up to $1.5 expense per product. That’s $5.5 and you then list your product for $9 to take out the competition. Your total profit is $3.5 per profit, Times it by a 100 for a total of $350. You would only have to sell 3.5 per day now imagine if you sold 50 a day wow.
If you can’t find your product cheaper just move on to the next one, you’re bound to find one and if your hesitant to spend money for a bulk price buy one from your competition and sell it for a dollar cheaper and log your results, if you sell it within a couple of days your golden.
