vedio resolution problem

Hi everybody.
I have a website www dot fadibidan dot com which was created by a "professional". I have some videos which were converted from MP4 to FLV. The problem is that after being converted to FLV with Bit comet FLV converter, the resolution became worse.
some friend said If the controls are over the top of the video ,resolution will become better do you agree ??
And - I asked the creator whether it's possible to make the video one size bigger when clicking on play instead making it full screen. He said it couldn't be done.
I've seen videos of this kind in MySpace. So, it is possible, it CAN be done!!!
I just would like to know HOW it is done, any resources to get idea ? I would appreciate your help very much.

hmm.. as far as i remember
by converting the video into flv format, it means you decrease the resolution to get the smaller size of the video.
my advice is u should try to compress the video into avi format and then re-upload the video

my original videos extension already avi , I converted to mp4 to decrease the size then to FLV, result better )
