Thread: What is the difference between <b> and <strong> ?

    Bold <b> and Strong <strong> are both HTML tags there are no difference in terms of making a "bold" word but the difference is <strong> tag is a standard HTML tags for W3C.

    Isn't <b></b> an HTML tag and <strong></strong> a CSS tag?

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I learned from my Webmastering teacher.. :P

    both works in same way when u will look it in browser but <b> tag is for specially make bold fonts when <strong> tags are used to make the word or line little dark than normal..thats what i got..donno if i am right or not..correct me if i am wrong..

    Both of them same but usage may different according to the editor

    Both same work, but

    <b>this tag is used in html

    <strong> is used in wordpress
